Who is Ashima Mittal, the newly appointed Zilla Parishad CEO of Nashik?
Nashik: The Shinde government (Eknath shinde) has transferred 44 IAS officers in the state. Leena Bansod, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zilla Parishad of Nashik has been transferred and now Ashima Mittal has taken charge as the Chief Executive Officer. Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Leena Bansod has been transferred as Additional Commissioner of Tribal Development Department of Thane. Ashima Mittal, a project officer of ITDP at Dahanu in Palghar district, has been appointed as the chief executive officer of Zilla Parishad, Nashik. Ashima Mittal is one of the officers in the list of young IAS officers.
This is the first time that IAS officers have been transferred after the government of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis came to power.
In these transfers, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is said to have made the transfers only after communicating directly with the officials and it is seen that Shinde has the upper hand.
Ashima Mittal, who has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Nashik Zilla Parishad, is in the list of young IAS officers.
One aspect of this appointment is that in the past there was also a woman on the post of CEO and even now there will be a woman CEO in the form of Ashima Mittal.
Ashima Mittal is originally from the state of Rajasthan and hails from Jaipur. She has cleared the UPSC exam in the third attempt.
Ashima Mittal, a civil engineer, has also worked in that field and joined Maharashtra as an IAS officer in 2018.
His post graduate education is in Anthropology. Since 2018, she has joined the government service in Maharashtra and is now going to be the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Nashik
